On September 11, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag attended the celebration of the 106th birth anniversary of former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. in Batac City, Ilocos Norte.

During the event, Consul Ren had a friendly conversation with the current President of the Philippines Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos, as well as with Ilocos Norte Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba, Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc and other officials.

The consul together with other participants also visited the Ilocos Norte Agricultural Products Expo held in Imelda Cultural Center.
