The Chinese Consul and Head of Post to Laoag Mme. Wang Jianqun paid a courtsey call on the Hon. Mayor of San Fernando Hermenegilda A. Gualberta at the City Hall on September 28, 2017. The two sides exchanged views on developing friendly exchanges and cooperation between cities in China and San Fernando and other matters of common interest.

The two sides briefed each other on the current relations between China and the Philippines and the development priorities and needs of San Fernando respectively. Consul Wang and Mayor Gualberta agreed to work closely to expand exchanges and cooperation between cities in China and San Fernando.
